Content: The study of Spanish 2 continues the study of topics usually covered in a traditional Spanish 1 program. Vocabulary is expanded, writing skills refined and grammar drilled in greater depth. Special attention is paid to the relationship between the preterit and imperfect tenses and in uses of ser and estar.

Content: Builds upon Spanish 2 curriculum and further develops the understanding and use of major grammatical points such as the preterit, the imperfect, and the subjunctive moods through exercise completion and the writing of compositions. The reading of short stories provides opportunities for writing and vocabulary building as well as a review of tenses.
